| Pop the fucking Dream 2013 :D |
The title says it all. Sorry, it took me so long to write this--- it's been over a week since Pop and here I am FINALLY writing about it ;P Been busy with my usual classes, three jobs, and Life in general. The past two weeks leading up to Pop built my anticipation to the uff level. I was so stoked to go, how stoked--- it was my first mini break in two weeks of work and school. So I was beyond stoked. And plus, I liked the line up :) So Pop appealed more to me.
Anywho-- let's just skip to the day of Pop, April 6. I got to Paulo's fairly early, before noon if I remember correctly. I was well ready, just needed to make bracelets for people. And trust me, I made hella... >_< I really need to learn how to make the complex shit, I'll learn soon :) Cuz I got another event that requires me to make some!
So the day started fairly early, for once I didn't have work on a Saturday (cuz I got the day off ;D), and got to Paulo's around noon. I was already set, with all my travel shit and extra clothes, but I needed to make more bracelets.... Some pictures below show Daryl, Forn, Trevor, Thea, Paulo, and me making bracelets, making gains, and taking Myspace shots.
We got to our hotel around 5 ish and waited for the rest of our party to show up :) Then we made our way to the Oracle. It sucks that we missed Deep Voices and Adrian Lux, but Rusko fucking made our night. I say the only con to Pop was the long ass line getting in AND getting to the bathroom. I fucking hate being a girl >_< but other wise, it was a FUCKING BLAST. The set up was fucking dope too--- below is the best shot I got.
Basically, the stage rotated throughout the show while the lights blared on all sides. From the stands, the people looked like a sea. :) Below are videos barely capturing what happened that night :)
I really can't describe what happend at Pop. It's only my third rave and what not-- but here's the best I can do. Music blaring, adrenaline rushing, love pervading, friendship building, awesomeness happening. There was so much going on, and to be honest I'm glad that I went in spite of school the next week :) I saw some of my friends too, which completely made my night :D I got see an old friend from high school.... dude I completely learned that he was in SF this entire time >_< and then I saw my students from my Pokeclass :) I saw others and even re-met people whom I saw at SHM :)

To be honest, words can't really describe how I felt and what went on at Pop. But let me just say again, I love going to these events because I'm surrounded by people who love and care about me. It always an adventure!!
Well I can't wait to see Ferry Cortsen and GO TO FUCKING EDC :D :D :D :D
